Our mission is making INBOX.CLEAN™ a reality: stop phishing attacks — the root cause of 95% of breaches — before they reach users. Get the only solution that preemptively stops Business Email Compromise, malware, ransomware and other advanced threats by discovering and eliminating them before they cause damage.
Email Security has certainly come a long way. With cloud messaging now the standard versus the legacy on premise approach (Lotus Notes anyone?) the strategy of securing these clouds has also experienced a revolution.
Area 1’s cloud-native SaaS solution supports three key use cases: preemptive anti-phishing across all threat vectors (email, web, social, network); cloud email security / SEG replacement; and phishing security automation for SOC teams.
Area 1 is a Microsoft Certified Partner and a Google Cloud Security Technology Partner of the Year. We also integrate with a number of SIEM, SOAR, SEG and firewall technology providers to fit your unique infrastructure. Learn More

The past 12 months have been a busy time for us! We have been hard at work to add new threat models, widen our campaign coverage, implement additional automation, and discover better ways to address post delivery weaponization. While all of that effort was underway, a big focus of our team was on improving how we surface the appropriate metrics to our customers.
To us, effective cybersecurity necessitates having outcomes-focused metrics that are easy to consume and speak directly to the value of your solution. Instead of complexity, we aspire towards simplicity in how information is collected and displayed. In this effort, we have been guided by your continuous feedback.
Our latest release earlier in the week exemplifies this in action, in a new and much improved ‘Mission Control’ style dashboard with individual panel layouts that highlight both security and infrastructure related metrics. This is just the first of several new visualization and portal enhancements we have planned for the balance of this year.
Curious about the new look and feel? Read this blog to learn exactly what has been improved, what that means for you and get that new car smell that we all covet!
Area 1 Security Leaders Make CRN Channel Chiefs 2022
Our Solution Provider Partners and MSPs help organizations of all sizes migrate from legacy IT architecture to more effective cloud-native security.
Thanks in large part to our partner ecosystem (which increased by 150% last year), Area 1 now protects more email inboxes than any other cloud-native email security provider.
Area 1’s partner program is led by Chief Revenue Officer, Steve Pataky, and VP of Global Channel Sales, Dawn Ringstaff – who have both been named to the CRN 2022 Channel Chiefs list! Steve also made CRN’s 50 Most Influential Channel Chiefs, for the sixth year in a row.
As Blaine Raddon, CEO of The Channel Company notes, “CRN’s 2022 Channel Chiefs recognition is given exclusively to the foremost channel executives who consistently design, promote and execute effective partner programs and strategies.”
